Announcing a new Meetup for The Ron Paul Guardians of the Constitution!

What: Secrets of the Constitution (second time around)

When: Monday, May 24,[masked]:00 AM

Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)

This will be the Freshman seminar, Secrets of the Constitution. There are others who wanted to attend this seminar but had conflicting engagements, so we are doing it again.

If you attended the first seminar, you are of course welcome to attend this one. This is the chance for others to discover what you did in the last class, and new students should be given the same opportunity to discuss and research these issues.

After running several of this seminar, we will put on a slightly more advanced seminar that takes us into another phase of Constitutional Basics that, again, are not specified in the constitution; but are there. You just have to find them. The second seminar addresses questions such as What about Health Care? What about Gun Control? What about Building Codes?

The Third Seminar will take us into a discussion as to what specific areas of activity Congress was given the power to act.

The sources we use to get the answers to these great constitutional questions come from the Founders themselves. We only use these documents:

1. Declaration of Independence.

2. Federalist Papers

3. The Constitution itself and the First Ten Amendments.

4. Notes from the Constitutional Convention.

To define the words, we us Webster?s American Dictionary of the English Language, published in 1828.

To determine what the Constitution really means we consult the Founders. They knew what kind of country these united States were to be and how they were supposed to proceed. Many of those same Founders gave their lives to see that it happened. Others pledged their lives, their fortunes, their sacred honor to that same Cause.

We, as True Americans, can do no less.
