Ron Paul's performance in last night's "debate" motivated me enough to do some freeway blogging this morning.
I went out to the 5/Nobel where there is quite a bit of traffic between 7-8:30. I held up my medium-sized Ron Paul Hope for America sign. Over 35 minutes I only got about 12 waves and 3 honks. This is FAR less than a couple of months ago doing it on a saturday.
My guess is this sign is just a little too small for people to see. Most people in their cars did not even look up at me with my sign. I wasn't in their peripheral vision!
I know every little bit helps but I think the bigger Ron Paul for President 2008 banner is much more effective.
Also, I think having more than one person around the banner or sign draws more attention to it.
I'm up for doing weekly freeway blogging with the big banner if anyone is up for it. I'm flexible so I can do any time and anywhere in central SD. Weekends may be a good idea too.
Let me know if you want to commit to weekly freeway blogging and let's get it together for the final stretch here!
Liberty is the right to be self determined in your actions as long as you don't infringe on other peoples equal right to do the same. Liberty comes with responsibility. Liberty does not include a right to deny another their existence simply because you can. Liberty certainly is the opposite of tyranny. Tyranny is the taking control of people or property without the right to do so.
The San Diego Ron Paul Meet-up is a group of individuals that recognize to some degree that our governments have become destructive to those principles that they were established on and wish for a return to at a minimum, a very limited government.
We are a home for all Liberty minded people, which gives our members the opportunity to participate in the events of their choosing.
