Rail Travel Meetup Group Annual Holiday Party

Sorry for the lack of advance notice. It has been a really busy year for me!

The Rail Travel Meetup Group Holiday Party will be in the same location and time as last year: The Streamliner Lounge of Ruby's Restaurant at the Orange Metrolink / Amtrak Station at 186 N. Atchison Ave., Orange, CA, on Monday, December 10, 2012, 5pm-8pm.

No advance payment is necessary. $20 will be collected at the door from each person attending, cash or check only. You, your family, and your friends are all welcome to attend.

Appetizers will be served starting at about 5:15pm and dinner will be served starting at about 5:45pm. We realize that some people may need to leave to catch trains by 7:00pm and we'll make sure they get their food served first as we did last year. But those not having to catch a train, please feel free to relax and hang out with us until 8pm!

There are many train and bus options for getting to Ruby's Streamliner Lounge at the Orange Metrolink / Amtrak Station as it is also a major OCTA Bus Stop. More information will be posted here and to TrainWeb.org/rtmeetup/xmas2012.html later.

MENU SELECTIONS
$20 At The Door Per Person (Cash or Check)
($26 if you wish to order the Rib Eye Steak)

The following is your choice of main entrees at the event. No need to tell us now what you want. You can just decide when you place your order! Ruby's has made some changes to their menu since last year so the selections are a little bit different this year:

CHEESEBURGER
Made with the highest quality fresh ALL-NATURAL USDA CHOICE BEEF grilled to perfection and served with fresh, sliced tomato, crisp lettuce and RubySauce on a traditional or whole wheat bun. Substitute a lean Ground Turkey, Gardenburger or GoFit lean veggie protein patty or lean grilled Chicken Breast at no additional charge.

FRESH-ROASTED TURKEY DINNER
Hand-carved slices of turkey breast over savory herb stuffing topped with rich turkey gravey. Served with our "loaded" mashed potatoes, garden vegetables and tangy cranberry sauce.

HEARTY TURKEY POT PIE
Golden, flaky pastry filled with tender turkey breast chunks, wholesome garden vegetables and rich, creamy gravy.

CHICKEN TACOS
Warm, flour tortillas with grilled chicken with vegetarian black beans, lettuce, low-fat shredded cheese, taco sauce, salsa and chopped green onions.

VEGGIE TACOS
Warm, whole wheat flour tortillas with fresh lettuce, cabbage, low-fat shredded cheese, vegetarian black beans, salsa and black olives.

RIB EYE STEAK DINNER
There is an extra $6 charge for this item. When you arrive please let us know if you plan to order this item so that we know to collect $26 from you rather than $20 and we will issue a different color meal ticket to you.

EVERY ENTRY COMES WITH:
A dinner salad and refillable coffee, tea, or any soda. A full bar is available - all cash and carry. 5:15pm-5:45pm prior to dinner cheese & crackers, a fresh vegetable platter, and chips, salsa & queso will be served.
