Hey Blinds,
To save anyone else from having to be the act to follow David Black, I'm going to be using this next RubyBlind meetup as a chance to warm up the RubyMotion talk (http://goruco.com/speakers/2013/salerno-matt/) I'll be giving at GoRuCo in June. You may have heard of these things called 'iPhone apps' ( \aj-fon æps\ ) that some people are using. If you'd like to learn more about how awesome it is to build these apps with Ruby, come on out! I'll be giving a talk on how RubyMotion can be an amazing gateway to iOS development for Rubyists, but there will also be time to check out some RM code, answer questions, etc. The meetup is at the Flatiron school, and our other awesome sponsor Cyrus Innovation (who incidentally are ready and able to meet your iOS/RubyMotion development needs, should you have any ; ) will be providing pizza/beer.
