Jocelín Zamudio

Originally from Mexico City, Joceliín is a software developer who has spent most of her programming career using Java. During her first two years of working at Barnes & Noble/Nook she moved from NYC to CA and from Java to Ruby. She enjoys running, dancing, and tricking her coworkers to swear in Spanish.

Billy Truong

Billy was made in Vietnam and assembled in USA. He graduated from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona some light years ago and spent most of his life in Los Angeles (currently living in Milpitas, CA). Billy has worked at various companies including Nook.com - Barnes and Noble, EA.com - Electronic Arts, eHarmony.com, Evite.com, Citysearch.com, Disney Interactive using technologies including Java, Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, Mongo, Oracle, Mysql, Redis, Memcache Classic ASP, PHP, Visual Basic. His favorite technologies currently are NodeJS, Ruby and Rails, MongoDB.
Besides coding for a living, Billy also codes for fun on his own, trying to create something with every new technology learned. For non-geeky fun, Billy loves to hang out with friends and coworkers at at a bar or club. He is crazy for house/trance music which causes him to go extremely wild.
Michael RighiMichael Righi is a software developer at Nook.com. These days he codes in Ruby. Before that it was Java. His hobbies include code golf, 3d printing eyewear, and swearing in Spanish while losing at table tennis.

Matt Holloway

Born in England, raised in Canada, Matt is now happy to call Mountain View home and Nook.com work. Matt's life was shaped in the 80s, growing up with big hair, Duran-Duran, Depeche Mode and the dawn of personal computing. From the early days on his Commodore Vic-20 and 8088, he knew this computer thing had legs, and after a few party filled years in college, finally entered the workforce ready to flex his C chops on the new king of Operating Systems: OS/2.
Since those early years, Matt has moved from C to C++ to Visual Basic, to Java and now has landed on Ruby. In his spare time, Matt loves to read (The Soul of a New Machine – Tracy Kidder is his favorite), code, bike, run and play with his cats. Matt is also 'king' of trash talk at the office Ping-Pong table.
