I know we are a bunch of runners, but sometimes you need to work out more than just your legs. A little upper body strength and use of muscles you normally don't will actually help your running.
I figure it's time to subject my entire body to 3 hours of pain instead of just my legs. This fitness program is NOT organized by me, but it is FREE. I, like everyone else, have heard it's insane, but I'm oddly attracted to things that punish my body for it's inability to be an elite athlete.
If you want to break free from the normal run routine, come join and we can limp back to our cars together after. If 3 hours isn't enough, we can get some lunch after and then head out for a run... but there's no promise on that one, but I'm stupid and can probably be talked into it if someone else is masochistic as well.
