Join your neighborhood running/walking club over here on the Eastside, in Bellevue/Issaquah/Kirkland/Redmond!
Meet others in your local area to run/train with. Participate in various long and short distance runs or walk. We run all distances, and like to train with other runners to help each other meet goals. Get ready for the next 5K, 10K, Seattle Marathon or Rock 'N Roll Marathon, or half marathons. Also, Mercer Island Half Marathon and SJJ are both nearby...Discuss running safety and get coaching.
If you are having trouble getting started or can't run a mile yet, try attending one of our TRACK WORKOUTS and simply walk or jog around the track at your own pace...we will be there to help you get started!!
Beginners and Walkers are encouraged to come out and join us!! I am the organizer and I run about a 10-11 minute mile as my top speed and sometimes I do a 12 minute mile with walk breaks on longer runs...so you can always get started with me by your side and not worry that the group is too fast for beginners or folks who are coming back from injury.
We also have several assistant organizers that run faster paces like 8 and 9 minute miles and a few are even quicker than that...so you have many choices on what pace to run. I suggest posting your estimated pace in your RSVP's...aka 5 miles at 9 minute pace...for example.
Rain, shine, or snow...we will be there!! We can get coffee and chat at Starbucks after run...

We suggest $15.00 annual membership fee to help pay for this website's upkeep, but if you don't have money, don't let that deter you from joining us anytime! I am sure we can work out a deal such as you organizing some running events. We are just trying to offset the fees of meetup and our time...come and run with us!!
The Bellevue Running Club has received permission from the Eastside Runners to cross-post their weekly track workout.
The recommendation is to arrive before the workout begins at 6 pm. Those runners warming up usually run in the clockwise direction, which is opposite to the way the track is usually run. After the workout, those cooling down also run in the clockwise direction. Read more
