The state of javascript

James Long and Tim Larson are taking the reins of RVAjs
and will be organizing a meetup every month, starting in October.

On October 8th, James will present on the state of Javascript.
After the presentation, we'd like everyone to share who they
are and what they do with javascript so that we can talk
about the direction for RVA.js. Please bring ideas and topics
for future meetings. I know this group already had an "introductory"
meeting, but I think we'll see a bunch of new people.

I say "like" way too much, wow! It's good to practice presenting, it only makes you better.

I hate textboxes that submit when "enter" is pressed. Anyway, I may try to use a screencasting software to at least record my screen and voice.

ScreenFlow has a 30 day demo I believe for Mac, and Camtasia is a good option for PC.

If someone here has access to a video camera and a tripod, if you bring it we can record the talk. Let me know.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
