Accommodations on your own ~ J Resort recommendedSacramento Tall Club would like to invite you to The Great Reno Balloon Race Weekend, Friday thru Sunday, Sept. 5-7. This is the 5th year STC is sponsoring this loosely organized, weekend event.
International Camel/Ostrich Races in Virginia City take place throughout the weekend, See https://visitvirginiacitynv.com/international-camel-ostrich-races-2/ for all details.The Great Reno Balloon Race is FREE to spectators thanks to the generous support of event sponsors. Bring your picnic blanket and basket, lawn chairs, and warm clothing. Food venders are available. For more information and daily schedule, check out their website - https://renoballoon.com/
For easier access to the event, a VIP parking pass is highly recommended. Look for us on the edge of the balloon launch area in front of the Peppermill tent.
Transportation, accommodations and meals on your own. Suggested accommodations would be The J Resort, 345 N Arlington Ave, Reno, NV, 89501. Rooms are currently available at a rate of $148/night + resort fees for either 1 King or 2 queen bedded rooms.
Check your favorite hotel booking site for the best rate and book your rooms ASAP to guarantee availability. Group meals & transportation/carpools will be arranged on site. Join your tall friends on Friday, September 19th as STC - Sacramento Tall Club, heads to the Comedy Spot to enjoy a bit of fun.
"Murder, You Wrote" is an improvised whodunit where one unlucky performer meets a dire fate in the opening act. The detective and their trusted sidekick will use their interrogation skills to suss out the culprit and solve the case.
The twist? The audience gets to decide who the killer is amongst an array of suspects who are anything but usual.
