Greetings speakers,

We had another fabulous event this week with nearly 80 people in attendance. The energy in the room was fabulous and Brian Sharp was a great speaker.

Please join us for our next meeting on March 7 with guest speaker Paula Statman, who will be coming up from the bay area to share strategies for connecting with your audience and effective communications. RSVP here.

Brian Sharp's Upcoming Workshop

I asked Brian to email details from his presentation and upcoming workshop. Here they are:

Maria Nemeth's Upcoming Workshop

Dr. Maria Nemeth was our speaker in January and drew our largest attendance to date (nearly 100 people!). Maria is offering a special workshop specifically for our members and I plan to attend myself. Here's the scoop:

The Fundamentals of Success: Unleashing Your Natural Ability to Make a Difference

Does this sound familiar? You are watching someone who is speaking to a group or audience. They are really, really good. You see that this person:

•Knows how to talk in a way that captures interest and inspires action.

•Has the ability to present the value of services in such a clear way that others see a vision for themselves and want to participate.

•Makes sure that people leave the presentation with the clear experience that they were glad they were there.

Maybe you've asked yourself: what is that person doing? What is his or her winning technique, formula, or secret strategy?

Well, take a deep breath and consider the following: you—like many of us—may be looking at the wrong questions. Instead of asking what the person is doing, it may be much more effective to consider the following:

•What horizon is that person's gaze fixed upon, such that those words are coming out of his or her mouth?

•What are the questions to which this person's presence or presentation is the answer?

Do these questions interest you? Do you want to "see" what successful people see? I guarantee you this: if you do, the same ability to inspire action will be yours. You won't have to memorize strategies or formulas. You will be yourself—authentically and naturally who you really are. And people will be glad to have heard you speak.

Join me for a four-session series: The Foundations of Success. The definition we will use for success is this: Success is doing what you said you would do, consistently, with clarity, focus, ease and grace.

Session One: Clarity. You will become clear about your most important personal purposes. You'll be given the Life's Intentions Inventory so that you can immediately see what you are here to contribute to life.

Session Two: Focus. Where do you put your energy and attention? Learn a success principle that shows you how to focus upon thoughts worth having! These thoughts will automatically make your responses to others more effective.

Session Three: Ease. Are you working harder than you need to? Believe it or not, other people can tell. And this makes it more difficult for them to hear your message. Learn some keys to ease.

Session Four: Grace. Grace is linked to your ability to be grateful for whatever is in front of you. See how your authentically grateful approach to life benefits those around you. As a consequence, they are more likely to listen to what you have to say.

Dates: March 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th

Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Place: Academy for Coaching Excellence

1900 Point West Way – Ste 122, Sacramento, CA 95815

Cost: $200 for entire series, includes: handouts and snacks.

To Register: Call 916-569-0779
