Michael Budkie, A.H.T., co-founder & Executive Director of Stop Animal Exploitation NOW! (SAEN), which works exclusively on the animal experimentation issue by successfully terminating research projects, forcing the USDA to take legal action against laboratories, & coordinating release of animals into sanctuaries.
Jack Norris, RD, vegan dietitian & co-author of Vegan for Life, is a nutrition expert who can help answer your questions about vegan health. Jack is also founder of Vegan Outreach, a grass-roots vegan advocacy & awareness organization that focuses on reaching out to college campuses throughout the United States and promoting informed, ethical eating to reduce the suffering of farmed animals.
This is a community-wide event planned and organized by volunteers from several of our local vegan meetup groups.
The entire greater Sacramento vegan community is invited to come join in the festivities, and an open invitation is extended to the surrounding vegan community (Davis, Rocklin, Roseville, Lincoln, Grass Valley, Auburn, etc.)
Come, bring your friends & families!
*Please be sure guests know: this will be a 'keepin' it vegan' event, so no animal products, etc.
