Sail La Vie is Houston's Premier Social Sailing Club. We are a non-profit organization. None of our Board of Directors, Skippers or any member of the club receives any monetary or other consideration from the fees and charges associated with operating the club. Our club has been meeting for 15 years in the Houston area. We meet every Wednesday night in Houston and then sail every Saturday afternoon, sometimes Sundays and over long weekends in Galveston Bay. We sail the waters of Galveston Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Sail La Vie is about having fun, learning how to sail, relaxing, socializing, kicking back, watching Sunsets and the Moon rising. Even if you have never been on a sailboat, this is your opportunity. If you are experienced you can share with others what you know. If you are a beginner you can learn. Whether you are an experienced sailor or a beginner, Sail la Vie is the club to join. We have great parties and events throughout the year. Once you join the club, you can go sailing every weekend for only $35 per person! We also have overnight sails, theme sails, such as gourmet moonlight sails and couples versus singles races. We love to meet with other local Sailing Enthusiasts to share our stories, socialize and organize fun outings. Our members are a mixture of singles and couples...so check us out! We charter sailboats from Windward Sea Ventures. They are a Professional Charter Boat Service. As such you can be assured that their boats are Inspected, Maintained and Fully Insured for charter as required by laws and regulations.
