Shochu 101: Learn the basics of Shochu

Do you know what Shochu is? It’s a Japanese traditional alcohol beverage as well as sake (Nihonshu). It is, in fact, more popularly drunk than sake in Japan because of the variety of taste, the way to drink etc. Then, how is it different from sake? How is the taste? How to enjoy ? Our new member, Taeko Tsukada, Shochu Kikisake-shi (Shochu Sommerier) will offer a short introductory session for shochu beginners and bring you to the entrance of shochu world.

All the shochus will be chosen specifically for the tasting, cost will be kept at low as possible. I'll collect $50 from each person to cover the costs of the alcohol and snacks.
