Welcome to the Salsaholics of Fredericksburg Meetup Group which provides a friendly atmosphere for everyone. We meet up for lessons, practice and social dancing every week at our new authentic Puerto Rican Restaurant located in Historic Downtown Fredericksburg. We are so happy to announce that after many years of praying and planning our dream has finally come true.....OUR RESTAURANT "LAS PALMAS CAFE" is finally open to the public!!!!!!!!!!!. Our Salsa Nights "Its a Latin Thing" are every Friday Night. Salsa lessons begin at 9pm sharp. If you want to learn to dance Salsa with a Latin Attitude then this is the place to be every Friday Night!!!! Our DJ's play the best Salsa hits and even throw in some merengue, bachata and reggaeton throughout the night. Please come out and join us every Friday Night from 9pm to 1:30am.
No matter what level you are on or what style you dance, you're welcome to join! We provide beginner Salsa lessons, performances and social dancing to hot salsa rhythms. It is not mandatory to bring partners, we're here to dance and make new friends.
My name is Jeanette! NUYORICAN living in VA. Im the VP of Salsabor Productions. We promote Latin Events in the DC area. I now live in Fredericksburg, VA and find it very difficult to commute to DC to promote events or going out dancing? So why not bring it here to Fredericksburg?? My plans are to promote the BEST Salsa Events in the area, bringing salsa instructors, DJs and bands from other areas to entertain and teach us. Que VIVA LA SALSA!!!!
Come to our new home "Las Palmas Cafe". Located in Historic Downtown Fredericksburg directly across the street from the Visitors Center. There is ample public parking in the back of our building located on Sophia Street, there is also a parking garage located on Sophia Street (about two blocks away).
