Kid's Introduction to Metalworking

This 2-day program is designed especially for kids aged 9 - 16 years old, using a lighter stock of steel for forging knife blades. Instructor James Brock offers attentive instruction on the basics of working with metal, blacksmithing techniques and safety precautions.

At the end of the course, students will go home with their own hand-forged knife blade!

CLASS INFORMATION:

Cost: $200, includes all materials, the forged knives students will go home with, a handout and lunches on both days.

*A $100 deposit is required to hold a space in this course. The tuition balance is due by the start of the class on January 17th.

Class Size: Limited to 5 students

Date: January 17 - 18th, 9 - 4 each day.

Location: Our San Antonio Campus, Blacksmith Forge Area.
