What photo equipment do you shoot with and do you have a website to share?

I currently shoot with a FujiFilm camera. Looking into either a Cannon T2 or 3 or the new Fujifilm FinePix HS30EXR

Favorite travel locations you've been to or would like to visit?

I love to travel! Places I have been are many but a few that truly stand out, especially photographically are Barcelona, Tuscany, Paris, London, Nice, Rome, Aruba, Bermuda San Francisco, San Diego. Next time I go back I want to take more professional pictures that tell a story.

What are you hoping to get out of this group? (Be as descriptive as you'd like)

I don't ever remember a time when I didn't want to travel, write and tell a story with my photographs. Although I am a writer by trade and travel is one of my passions, the latter photography, I just never seemed to have the time to pursue. Now that I live in a postcard (San Diego) I have no choice but to pursue this passion and that is what I am doing. I am giving this my undivided attention so I am excited to study this craft, buy better tools and move into my last passion.

Do you like to explore new places and meet new people? (Be as descriptive as you'd like)

While I was in Paris a few years ago, I ventured into this little cafe off the beaten path. No one spoke the same language. One gentleman spoke Portuguese, one spoke, french and I spoke English. The funny thing is somehow we all found a way to communicate, laughing and enjoying each other's presence. For me meeting different cultures, being in different lands enriches my life in ways I can never describe. BTW I have a picture of that moment!

Who are your favorite photographers?

Steve McCurry, Monetta Sleet, Ansel Adams and numerous local San Diego photographer's who really have a superb eye.

Introduction

I am an just starting out on my photography journey and it is wonderful. I love to take pictures of landscapes, natural settings with animals, city scapes and beautiful San Diego sunsets. I live in a postcard!
