Hosting 3 Whiteboard Sessions. These sessions run concurrently so pick the one you'd like to attend:

1. Migrating to the Cloud, hosted by David Allison, Nulu Languages.

Don't know if the cloud is right for your business? Been burned in the past? Starting a new company and want to experiment with what PaaS or IaaS providers have to offer? Want to learn how to make sure your app *never goes down*? How about the risk assessment and decision-making that can go in to choosing a cloud provider vs. a colo or traditional managed hosting provider? Learn about AWS and its myriad offerings from someone who's battle-tested them in enterprise and consumer web apps delivered to millions of users. Come with questions for the group and the host!

2. Mobile Frameworks - Quick Start, hosted by Harold Gottschalk, Softbrew, Inc.

Your CEO, sales, clients and the market are telling you to expand into the world of mobile devices. The mobile landscape experiences big changes every few months; operating systems are updated, new devices are released, and technologies are improved. You know a mobile strategy is required for success today. How do I get there and luckily, there are choices, maybe too many.

We will quickly discuss Native, Web and Hybrid approaches; a few frameworks and build an application with a cloud based tool.

3. Continuous Happiness hosted by Chris Kelly, New Relic

Does your engineering culture promote happiness, for your teams and for your customers? Or is it cluttered with procedure and toolchains that inhibit and constrain creativity, innovation and play? We often do not recognize how much our process and tools can effect our culture, which impacts our products and ultimately our customers. We'll talk about developers, we'll talk about operations, we'll talk about customers. Ultimately, we'll talk about happiness, and the cultural and technical requirements to continuously deliver it.

The sessions were all very interesting. It was hard to choose. I picked up AWS one presented by David.

the event was good. Glad to meet everyone. I attended the mobile session, and it was a little entry level, though maybe that's how it was suppose to be. Though I did enjoy learning about different cross-platform development tools like Tiggzi.

As I am new to this forum, I am uncertain as to whether or not this would be a suitable venue for introductions. Can someone enlighten me as to the subject matter / prompt of this whiteboarding feast?
