Ember-CLI 101 Workshop
Details
Attendees: Since this is a capped event please be sure to RSVP "NO" if you are unable to make the event.
Getting started with a new framework can be overwhelming. ToDo examples don't always illuminate how to handle real-world applications, how to structure larger apps, how to manage code, how to test, or best practices. It can feel like all of the resources discovered are out of date and no longer relevant. The guides may shed some light... but wouldn't it be nice to get hands-on experience with an experienced developer on hand to ask questions or show by example?
Join us for our first workshop where we will teach how to build an Ember application using Ember-CLI. You will get hands on experience at this guided workshop so you can walk away with the tools you need to dive in with Ember.
A hearty and warm welcome to the Ember-SC group (https://www.meetup.com/Ember-SC/) who will be joining us from Orange County to provide support!
Prerequisites to participate:
• Mac or Linux Laptop with Git, Node, NPM, Bower and Ember-CLI installed
• JavaScript experience: You are comfortable working in JavaScript and with jQuery.
The RSVP list for this event will be limited to ensure everyone receives a personalized experience. If you have questions about this class, reach out to Trey Hunner, Josh Smith, or Heather Brysiewicz on Meetups or the #sandiegojs IRC channel.
