Potluck Picnic at Balboa Park's Morley Field Sports Complex (North Park)

You and everyone you know are invited to join us at Balboa Park's "Morley Field Sports Complex" for a vegan, potluck picnic. Want to go? Here's what you need to know...

Please bring an entree, appetizer, salad, beverage, or dessert for 10-20 people that is vegan (100% plant-based; no meat, dairy or eggs). Homemade, prepared foods are preferred, please. Otherwise, don't even think about bringing your old, rotting mixed greens. ;) We're expecting fresh and tasty food (and not individual ingredients)!

Please tell us what you're going to bring with you when you RSVP. We're keeping a record of what people have committed to bringing so there are no duplicates. Unless it's lasagna. Or cupcakes. :)

Please bring large serving utensils for your dishes as well as your own cups, plates, napkins and eating utensils for yourselves. If you have extra, it would be great of you to bring more.

Also, if you have a portable table and/or chairs please bring them just in case we run out of space.

Otherwise, bring any sports or games you would like to play, too!

There are several, free, parking lots in walking distance from our meeting spot as well as plenty of street parking.

Please Note: Don't want to bring something edible to share with the group? No problem! We simply ask that each attendee provide at least a $10 contribution to our group upon arrival.

Each and every adult joining us, whether they're a member or guest, should contribute something plant-based to our picnic. (Cash comes from trees, you know. ;)

The spirit of a potluck is to bring a dish that stands on its own. It's a great opportunity to try a new recipe or show off your cooking skills.

Duy - I like your idea and if possible, it would be great of you if you could bring something else that's prepared as well. Even a small appetizer or another side item. So, what will it be? Thanks.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
