MeetUp 3: “The Art of Scent” vs. “The Scent of Art”

Dear Scent Culture Enthusiasts,
In our third meet-up, we will examine two different approaches to scent in museums, through the lens of two historic exhibitions:
• The Art of Scent: 1889 - 2012 (http://madmuseum.org/exhibition/art-scent) (Museum of Arts & Design, New York; Nov. 2012 - Mar. 2013)
• Belle Haleine: The Scent of Art (Museum Tinguely, Basel; Feb. – May 2015)

Since we cannot visit these exhibitions in person, we will revisit them through our presentation and experience sections, which will include all eleven works (http://thestore.madmuseum.org/products/the-art-of-scent-1889-2012) from The Art of Scent.
