My name is Jerry Siilber. I am 44 years old. I have been a Star Trek Scifi fan since 1972. I have been watching Star Trek since childhood in the 1960s. MY first Star Trek convention was in December 1979 in NYC. I hope you will join me.

As organizer I feel it's most unfortunate we have people who join this group, but don't join us at the various meetups we have. We have many people who join this group, but don't contact us via email, don't join us for any of our events. One has to wonder why these people join, but don't take an active part. The programming with this group is good. We offer a wide variety of activities. If a group member wants to host a meetup, they are more than welcome to. I think people need to be more realistic with the time they have to do things. Don't join up if you don't have the time. We have had people who join us who have come from far away. That makes no sense.

Hi, Jerry! Do you think the Monday showing of Star Trek will sell out? I have a free movie ticket, so I have to go to the theater, and I'm wondering if I should get my ticket today. Thanks.

I was really, really intersted in the TNG Blue-ray release event at the movie theater. It would have been awesome to see two episodes on the big screen. Unfortunately, I had already signed up for another meetup on the same day/time. I look forward to future events.
