Member Limits at Quills.

I will investigate other meeting locations. Can anyone meet on a weekend? I can’t make it on a weekday before 7:00 pm.

I appreciate the opportunity to read others’ chapters because listening to readers does have its challenges when it comes to digesting what I hear and being able to comment. I don’t do books on tape. I was about to say, “I read the old fashioned way – with a book,” but I suppose oral storytelling goes back thousands of years!

All right. I went ahead and reserved quills for tuesday, Oct. 1. I will be there at 6:30 all are invited. If anyone wants to post/ read excerpts ahead of time, write me at: [address removed]
I will create a dropbox for the group and give passwords to those who ask for them.
I have reserved quills for the first Tuesday in Nov and Dec. If this is going to be worthwhile, we will know by then.

I like this idea, though I do prefer the idea of having one in the beginning of the month, one at the middle. It’s sort of self defeating, in my opinion, to have two potentially one day after the other.

I also like the idea of having a group SkyDrive or dropbox, as I have a difficult time just listening like someone else mentioned. Perhaps, for the sake of privacy, we can make it so that it’s a password protected dropbox. Password could be distributed only to individuals present day of, and any uploaded content is deleted at the end of meeting? Maybe it’s paranoia, but I would much rather read along as the author is reading than risk any joe shmoe joining the group with the exclusive intention of stealing someone’s work.
