Can you confirm that you have read the "About Scottish Hillwalking & Activities Group" section of the website available by clicking on the "Pages" menu option or at http://www.meetup.com/scottish-hillwalkers/about/ ?

Please give some indication of your walking experience, i.e. total beginner, just local hills, Munros (roughly how many), winter experience, scrambling, foreign trips?

I've done about 85 Munros, aiming for the century this year. I've done a bit of scrambling - Cuillin, AE and Curved Ridge. Not much winter experience so prefer to do the boring muddy hills in winter :-)Just done my Mountain Leader training so keen to get out and do more big hill days.

Can you indicate your rock climbing experience (if not relevant please put "None") - i.e. how long have you been climbing, how current are you, types of climbing, rough grades and some idea of equipment held.

I've been climbing for about 8 years, mostly indoor. I'm working on my Climbing Wall Award and like to help introduce beginners. I am a competent lead belayer and have seconded a wee bit outdoors mostly at Auchenstarry. I have my own helmet, 60m rope and a basic rack.

What kind of walks/climbs would you like to do?

I love long exposed airy ridges - anything a bit scary, that gets the heart racing. I actually just love being outside, anything with trees, views, a bit of grass :-) I like to organise moderate to hard walks.

Where are your favourite or preferred places for walking/climbing?

All - the west coast is gorgeous. Love Assynt and Sutherland
