First Monday Knitting Meetup

For the Mountain View folks who can't make it to San Jose, and for everyone else too, Mondays at Peet's on Castro seem pretty nice!

All levels welcome—come knitters, come crocheters, or just come by and say hello. If you've never knit (or crocheted) before just bring a set of needles (or a hook) and some yarn, we can get you started.

This venue has a parking lot next door (it's on the not-so-busy part of Castro Street). It does close at 9 but they're friendly about asking us to leave. We'll do introductions & show-and-tell around 8 o'clock, so bring along any finished objects you like and we'll ooh and aah over them.

** The meetup is free as always, but it's nice to buy a drink or snack at Peet's since they're so nice about letting us use the space. **

We hope you can join us this evening. Every Monday evening is KnitNight at Peets on Castro in Mtn. View unless the cafe closes due to a holiday. You are welcome to join us. Just bring your yarn, your knitting needles/loom or crochet hook. We're happy to help.

Buffy is correct - ANYONE is welcome to join our little group. If you decide you want to learn a bit about crochet I'll be happy to help with that.

Hello, Is a guy welcome to learn knitting?

Of course. Bring some plain (not "fun" yarn) yarn in a light color, and needles that go with that yarn (look on the yarn band for suggested needles). Or, if you want to learn crochet, a hook. I can get you started on knitting, but someone else will have to teach you to crochet if that's what you want to learn! :)
