Seattle Rationality & Friends Weekly Social

This is a weekly meetup for anyone interested in or curious about Rationality or Effective Altruism. Meet new people and discuss philosophy, fiction, defining and maximizing good, society, metacognition and existential threats. Friendly dogs and a variety of games will be available to play as well.

Please feel free to come even if you feel awkward about it, you don't read a particular blog, don't know anybody here, etc. RSVPs may look low if people replied on a different platform or the regulars didn't think to reply before showing up.

This event takes place at The Territory, a group house that offers itself as a community hub for all things Rationality. We usually meet out front when it's warm enough, and the interior has multiple spaces available. The house is wheelchair accessible from rear-alley entrance, which google maps often directs people to anyway for no known reason.
