The Seattle/Eastside Brunch Club Pages

This group looks for opportunities to experience different foods and restaurants for brunch and breakfast, while enjoying friendly conversation and making new friends in the process, hopefully to do other things with. wink

We're always interested in finding out about new places to enjoy, so if you have one you'd like to share with the group, let us know!

To join, you have to include at least your actual first name (no screen names...) and a picture of you, (NOT your dog, a flower, etc.). This is so we can put a name with the face and be on the lookout or you at our events. This is also a safety issue.

We also ask that you ALWAYS keep your RSVP current, and if you RSVP YES that you really are a YES. If you are a maybe, then RSVP NO and then email me (or the organizer) ahead of time and we will see what we can do about getting you in. On some occasions, a wait list will be available. Usually it is managed automatically, but sometimes the organizer will manage it manually. We will always give first consideration to those who have a proven track record of showing up!

If you do land on a wait list, please trust me (or the organizer) with your phone number? If we have your number we can confirm with you that we are moving you onto the 'Attending' list. If we don't know you and can't contact you to make sure you'll show up, it's unlikely that we will bump you to a YES.

We also ask that if you have a problem with the food being served that you let the organizer know immediately, and don't complain excessively to others who might be eating. That way we can take care of the issue at the time, rather than getting all sorts of emails later, while at the same time disturbing someone else's meal.

Note that at all events we will start ordering our meals 15 minutes after the event's scheduled start time. UNLESS YOU CONTACT the organizer in charge, in which case we may wait for you to arrive, it will depend on the circumstances.

Also, most places include tax and a gratuity automatically for groups larger than six... usually between 18-20% with the bill. Please figure this in when paying. Where possible, we will get separate checks to ensure fairness.

Of course any lewd/offensive or stalking behavior will result in your expulsion from this group, along with a report to Meetup HQ about our decision to remove you.

A 'Dine & Dash' event will also result in your expulsion from our group (It truly pains me to have to write this, but there are SOME people in some Meetup groups that do this to the organizers).

If you have a personal issue with someone at an event, please inform the organizer so that it can be dealt with in a timely manner.

Thanks - Let's enjoy some yummy food at some neat places!
