• Introduction to our MySQL SNMP agent (sort of) fork
• Short introduction on how to measure "bytes behind master"
• Review / Interpret real life charts comparing both

Gerry's bio:

• Spent more than half his life working with databases but a few years short of my overall IT experience
• Started working for MySQL a decade ago and have been trying to become an expert since then
• 3 years ago I became a full time MySQL DBA and ...
• Transitioning into becoming a DSA (Data Store Administrator) working with other technologies in the MySQL eco-system.

The plan is to make the actual talk short and leave room for as much interaction and discussion as possible
