Life After Fundamentalism: A talk at the University of Chicago

Timothy Michael Short will share his unlikely true story of finding peace in secular humanism over the oppression of religious fundamentalism. Home-schooled and indoctrinated from birth, Timothy's future in full time ministry was all but guaranteed. During a six year stay at the world's largest Christian school, Liberty University, he overcame all of this and embraced atheism. In addition to his story, Timothy will share about the fundamentalist religious homeschooling movement which is growing in the United States and how it affects us all. The talk, like his book, promises to be insightful to the patterns of indoctrination and even child abuse.
