Don't Forget: You're A Tester
Details
Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great holiday. Please mark your calendars for our first meetup of 2013, happening next Tuesday, 1/15 @ 6:30pm.
Zac Campbell, a senior web QA automation engineer at Mozilla (http://mozilla.org) and the lead for Firefox OS UI automation, will join us for a talk on how to conceptually approach test writing. Here's his full abstract:
How do you value your tests and how much time do you spend writing and analysing your tests? This talk aims to provoke thought around the balance between developing framework and writing tests.
We'll be meeting at Lookout for the foreseeable future. Per our usual schedule, we'll start with drinks and food at 6:30, with the talk starting around 7pm. See you there!
Bio: Zac has 7 years of test automation experience using Rational Functional Tester, Selenium RC and WebDriver on various platforms. Most recently, he's been working as Senior QA Engineer at Mozilla.
