Join us for this semantic technology focused session. This seminal event will provide you with information and insight about industrial strength Semantic Technology tools to power your products in large-scale and professional deployment environments.

Clark & Parsia - Kendall Clark
http://clarkparsia.co...
@kendall

Clark & Parsia is a leading supplier of innovative semantic technologies, with a focus on OWL automated reasoning. The OWL reasoning system, Pellet, provides a solution for expressive reasoning and modeling with semantic data. Kendall will present Stardog, the forthcoming commercial RDF database from C&P, featuring full OWL2 reasoning capabilities and fast query performance in a lightweight, pure Java implementation.

Needle - Glenn McDonald
http://needlebase.com...
@glenn_mcdonald

Needlebase is a data acquisition, integration, correction, analysis and republishing platform, which lets you assemble, explore and query graph-structured databases. It does not represent these databases as sets of triples, doesn't serialize them as RDF, and doesn't query them with SPARQL. Glenn will talk about why not, and what Needle does instead, and why it might matter.

Virtuoso & Pivot Viewer - Kingsley Idehen

    The content was great, and the questions stimulating -- but not enough. To clarify: these were 3 major technology initiatives in the semweb space, and 3 very insightful speakers, and I would have much preferred to have separate sessions dedicated to each. Also it would help to keep meetings under 3 hours.

    Very good presentations, but the initial introductions are a waste of time.

    Good range of contributors that continue to challenge the boundaries of what is possible with semantic (or graph) technologies. Learnt a lot. Disappointed that I head to miss the session in the pub afterwards.

    First time attending and was impressed. Thanks to Marco and all of the presenters. Trading some of the presentation time for more Q/A would make it even better, but it was a good format, and had innovative presenters and community.

    Very well organized and good content. Marco has obviously built a thriving community around semantic technology.

    Great presentations, very interesting forward thinking work on Stardog and Needlebase. The last one from Virtuoso was more like a vendor demo and way to over specific in use of a single technology, went on too long.

    I was here at this site late at night, and thought I saw something about a discount code for SemTech 2011 in SF. Now I cannot find it. Want to sign up in the next 2 days and if there is a discount I would certainly appreciate it!
