What we’re about

This Meetup page serves the Orlando chapter of Christian Motorcyclists Association: Servants of the Son, Chapter #403, Orlando

To learn more about the Christian Motorcyclists Association, visit http://www.cmausa.org.
Vision: Changing the world, one heart at a time. We will accomplish our vision through:

  • Evangelistic outreach primarily, but not exclusively, to the motorcycling community.
  • Partnering with ministries with world-reaching potential.
  • Equipping our members in ministry training that aligns itself with Biblical truths.
  • A servant's attitude to the world and to our members (i.e. Here if you need us).
  • An effective group and support team.

Mission: To inspire our leaders and members to be the most organized, advanced, equipped, financially stable organization, full of integrity in the motorcycling industry and the Kingdom of God.

Doctrinal Statement: The Christian Motorcyclists Association is interdenominational and evangelistic in nature. We believe in:

  • The Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God.
  • One God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • The virgin birth and deity of Christ, His explicit atoning death, bodily resurrection and ascension.
  • Salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ.
  • The sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit who enables a believer to live holy.
  • The second coming of Jesus Christ.

Servants of the Son Purpose and focus: To be actively involved, riding, sharing and showing the love of Jesus Christ to the Motorcycle Community. The Servants of the Son 3-fold purpose is to:

  1. Provide and encourage members to be active in testimony and Christian witnessing to all motorcyclists.
  2. Be a Christian ride group and encourage one another.
  3. Grow as Christians. Jesus said, “Go into the highways and hedges, compelling all to come in so that my house might be full.” (Luke 14:23)

Welcome to Servants of the Son!

Meetup Specific Notes:

non Chapter Events: Check the host of the event. If the host says "non Chapter Events", we've posted the event for informational purposes only. You may or may not see CMA members at the event. If the event host is anyone other than "non Chapter Events" you will see members at the event unless it gets cancelled from our calendar.
Cancellations: Cancellations will occur for one of two reasons: (1) No one other than the host RSVP'd; (2) the Weather Channel app shows more than a 20% chance of rain.
Membership: Note that member accounts are reviewed periodically for usage. During the review, member accounts are purged when they are shown to have more than 6 months of inactivity. As noted in the purge note, if we have erred, you are welcome to re-apply for membership and more than 99% of the time, the new membership is approved.
RSVPs:
(1) In all cases, the organizer reserves the right to not show for an event when no other RSVP's have been received for that event.
(2) When a "Yes" RSVP is not changed to a "No" RSVP but the member does not show up. the organizer will e-mail the member who RSVP'd "yes" to make sure all is OK. Assuming all is OK, the organizer will remind the member to change their RSVP when their plans change so the organizer knows who to look out for at the event. Once the organizer has e-mailed the member 3 times without response, the member account will be purged.
Please also remember to be civil in your responses. Derogatory, negative, violent, offensive, etc. responses will result in a purged account that will not be allowed to re-apply.
