SF Bay Area Interactive Fiction Group Meetup

Details
Join us on Friday, March 4, for a screening of GET LAMP, the text adventure documentary, with director Jason Scott.
In GET LAMP, Scott interviews dozens of interactive fiction luminaries, telling a riveting story of interactive fiction's birth in the 1970s, Infocom's rise and fall in the 1980s, and today's independent IF revival.
(If you don't shed a tear watching the interactive DVD interview with Steve Meretzky, you have a heart of stone.)
Jason Scott is a fascinating character in his own right, and we're honored to have him at our Meetup. This is your chance to ask him about the making of GET LAMP, about his BBS documentary, or about his numerous archival projects. Maybe we'll even get him to drop some hints about his upcoming documentary projects! http://ascii.textfiles.com/archives/2951 ;-)
Show up at 7:30pm for pizza and popcorn; the movie will start at 8pm.
PLEASE RSVP. Security will not let you use the elevator unless Dan adds you to the list. If you have trouble getting in, you can reach Dan on his cell phone at 510-290-6099.
