The evolution of Data at Wikia

In this talk Jason Cook will be covering the challenges and choices we've made at Wikia to scale our backend data stores. How we went from a few hundred databases on a master/slave pair to over 150,000 spread over dozen's of MySQL servers in multiple data centers. I will also cover our migration to ssds and use of NoSQL style data stores. Bio:
