Slipped & DROP'd your TABLE? Recover w/TwinDB's Undrop for InnoDB toolkit

Overview:
TwinDB data recovery toolkit is set of tools that help recover dropped or corrupted InnoDB tables.

The session covers format of InnoDB table space, B+tree index, page and record, structure of InnoDB dictionary.

Typical failure scenarios will be reviewed: DROP DATABASE/TABLE, tablespace corruption, wrong DELETE or UPDATE.

There will be demo where we will drop a table and recover its structure from InnoDB dictionary and recover its data.

If you want to bring a laptop and follow along here's what you need:

1. Linux machine of favorite flavor: Redhat, Debian, Ubuntu Amazon Linux are supported. But 64 bit only.
2. Source code of the toolkit. To download it run:
   bzr branch lp:undrop-for-innodb
3. Software and tools:
   bzrmake
   gccbisonflexMySQL server.

Run make in undrop-for-innodb, it should compile w/o errors.

Bio:
Aleksandr has been working on MySQL data recovery since 2008 while he worked for Percona.
In 2014 he joined Dropbox DBA team and founded TwinDB that provides backup and data recovery services.
