We will investigate unit testing at its roots, and how we got from there to the state of testing in PHP now. We will cover techniques to make a high-quality test suite that provides maximal benefit to a codebase. Learn about the harm of focusing on code coverage metrics, dealing with flaky tests, and what your test suite is really trying to tell you.

Brian Fenton has been a PHP developer for 10 years in the Midwest and the Bay Area, currently at Bigcommerce. He focuses on code craftsmanship and design principles.
