Twilight Imperium 3rd Edition

Newbies to TI welcome. Fairly heavy and thematic 4x game with an everything and the kitchen sink approach to adding game mechanics.

If you don't know the rules please try to show up around noon so that we can go over them before the game starts. Aiming to start the game itself at around 1:30 and break for food at some point. Be forewarned that this is a long haul, but I'll try to speed it along and if we're still playing at 8 I'd be comfortable calling it.

I have the expansions but for the sake of simplicity I'm only planning on adding the extra units & racial tech, the expanded diplomacy system, and the Shattered Empire strategy cards.

I own cats, if anyone has allergies I can try looking into other venues but can't promise anything.
