F# Coding Breakfast 2014.4

Details
Evenings don't always work for everyone, so I figured, why not try a bit of coffee and fun F# coding to kick-start the day?
So let's meet at 8:15 at La Boulange Yerba Buena (on Mission Street in the Metreon building, nearest BART station is Powell), grab a coffee and a pastry, a laptop, and pair up to work on some of the Project Rosalind Problems (http://rosalind.info/problems/list-view/) from 8:30 to 9:15 - and then discuss what everyone did, and what's next until 9:30.
Suggested problems for this time:
-
"Complementing a Strand of DNA" (http://rosalind.info/problems/revc/)
-
"Rabbits and Recurrence Relations" (http://rosalind.info/problems/fib/)
You can see what others have done so far on the SFSharp GitHub repo (https://github.com/sfsharp/Project-Rosalind).
The problems we'll look at work great for beginners who want to get their feet wet, and there are a few ones that should be challenging even for experienced F#ers as well ;)
Confession: I shamelessly borrowed the idea from the Alt.NET Paris meetup group (https://www.meetup.com/altnetfr/events/160892122/).
