Evenings don't always work for everyone, so I figured, why not try a bit of coffee and fun F# coding to kick-start the day?
So let's meet at 8:15 at La Boulange Yerba Buena (on Mission Street in the Metreon building, nearest BART station is Powell), grab a coffee and a pastry, a laptop, and pair up to work on some of the Project Rosalind Problems from 8:30 to 9:15 - and then discuss what everyone did, and what's next until 9:30.
Suggested problems for this time:
* "Complementing a Strand of DNA"
* "Rabbits and Recurrence Relations"
You can see what others have done so far on the SFSharp GitHub repo.
The problems we'll look at work great for beginners who want to get their feet wet, and there are a few ones that should be challenging even for experienced F#ers as well ;)
Confession: I shamelessly borrowed the idea from the Alt.NET Paris meetup group.
