F# Coding Breakfast 2015.1
Details
Why not kick-start your day with coffee and a bit of fun F# coding?
F# Breakfast is simple: come on over with your laptop, grab coffee, a pastry and a seat - and at 8:30 sharp, we'll start coding in pairs on a couple of small problems until 9:15, discuss the solutions, and at 9:30, off we go, happy and energized!
This time, we'll work on some of the Project Rosalind Problems (http://rosalind.info/problems/list-view/).
Suggested problems:
-
"Transcribing DNA into RNA" (http://rosalind.info/problems/rna/)
-
"Computing GC Content" (http://rosalind.info/problems/gc/)
You can see what others have done so far on the SFSharp GitHub repo (https://github.com/sfsharp/Project-Rosalind).
The problems we'll look at work great for beginners who want to get their feet wet, and there are a few ones that should be challenging even for experienced F#ers as well ;)
