This is just a heads-up, for the Shamanic Journey Circle Meetup group:
Next Tuesday night, April 27, Rocky Mountain PBS is hosting a screening of the film "The Horse Boy" at the Starz Film Center (on the Auraria Campus). This is the story of an autistic child named Rowan and his family, the boy's connection with horses, and the family's journey to Mongolia seeking shamans there to find healing for Rowan.
The film will be followed by a panel discussion and I've been invited to be one of the panelists. The event is free and open to the public, but reservations are required, so click on the link below to get officially RSVPed.
I've previewed the film and it is absolutely stunning, really a beautiful documentary of their journey into healing, with clear-eyed depictions of both autism and of shamanism.
Please click on in and make reservations if you can attend - I think you'll enjoy the film and I'd enjoy seeing some friendly faces :-)http://www.rmpbs.org/calendarEvents/?event=6615
Thanks and bright blessings!
