I keep telling myself it's alright to be vertically challenged and that I rock because no one can measure up to me. But, at the end, there are disadvantages, especially in region like N. America where an average height of men is 5'10" and women is 5'4". In Asia continent a 5'4"men and 5'1"women would be considered an average.

Now, I know many of us gets things done but there're always challenges especially in sports like basketball, volleyball, running, rock climbing, etc. One of my biggest challenge is getting on a motorbike without having to tiptoe. Taking pictures in crowed is always a challenge having to stretch up your hand and guess the angle. Some cars have seats that don't adjust well for short legs or operating some equipment requires tall heights. There are people in work places from surgeons to laborers requiring stool for height boost. Shopping for clothing is always a challenge having to go in Juniors section with less choices. There're many other scenarios that may be affected with disadvantages.
I decided to create this group for all those who are much shorter then average US height and are challenged some how in there daily life performance. You may even also have flashback from younger days either being bullied or teased being short. This group is not to discourage or making fun of but rather feel TALL or average among others at your level. We'll meet for dinner or drinks to chat and try to have sporting activities fitting our needs like lowering hoops to dunk or nets to spike over and others.
Many people asks for the height limit so I would consider a shorty to be around 4" for men & 3" for women, shorter then average US height. But, having fun makes anyone feeling high so come on out and enjoy your self with other at your level.
There're many advantages also for those closer to ground but we can discuss that in meetings.
