We had one hell of a day at Punggol. Nvr hve you seen everyone enjoying themselves and exchanging tips and coaching each others. It was really fun except for the other 14 that did not inform nor turn up at all. The pics they post is a manifestation of the joy and funfilled day we had.

Olivia we are not taking any LRT. WE taking the mainline to Punggol MRT Stn. I thk u shul not refer to the map anymore ass there are alot of LRT line not in operation yet. If I not wrong Damai is one of them. Near to the Waterway entrance at the traffic junction there are flats around perhaps you can park there and walk across. That's why I asked you whether you know where the waterway is?

    April 5, 2012

  • Olivia

Donald, which LTR station you guys will be alighting? Is it Damai?
There is a car park next to the waterway bank - according to the map.
Hope I can find you guys.

Thanks, Donald! Will contact you if i can make it. :) The bus service no. is 84, take from the bus interchange. It will stop at the jetty before U-turn back to the bus interchange. The frequency is between 18 - 23 mins (http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/tr...). The last bus will be at 1235am. Hope it helps. Punggol waterway is still confusing so better to have everything planned well. Yea, working but can wake up qt 9am plus. ok, gotta sleep ler. Good nite! See ya on sat

  • Donald

Wa girl so late you still awake. Not working meh...

    March 20, 2012

  • Donald

No problem you're most welcome. Do you by chance knows the frequency of the feeder bus? and is it still in service?

    March 20, 2012

  • Minghui

Cos I'm still not sure if I need to work on that day not. So, I cant rsvp till my schedule is fixed. If I can make it on the last min, I will just give you a call on that day can?

    March 20, 2012

  • Minghui

Yea, will miss out on a lot if dont go to the punggol end. Plus, going to punggol end is better than going round the place in circles trying to get to the main road. The last time I went, I walked towards the direction of sengkang riverside park, there was no buses and I had to walk a long distance to the Kadaloor lrt station. And that station has got not much of food choices, except for one coffee shop. I went to the punggol jetty by bus before. It's a feeder bus and jetty is the last stop...

    March 20, 2012

  • Donald

Btw Minghui, how come I don't see your name on the RSVP?

    March 20, 2012

  • Donald

I am not too sure but I believe that the end is near the jetty. As for the seafood I totally no idea. Not to worry abt the end. You saw the arch piece I took which is on the main road. Ya, that arch will lead us to the mrt if we decided not to take the trail to Punggol End. But there again we will missed quite alot of things along the trail. How you know there is a bus service to the mrt at the jetty?

    March 20, 2012

  • Minghui

Ok... If the ending point is at punggol end, then there's a bus back to punggol mrt. But it's near to the jetty there. The seafood, is it the one at punggol marina or? I only heard of that so far. hahaa... If the ending point is not at punggol end, then gotta walk to the nearest lrt station.

    March 20, 2012

  • Donald

Well Minghui. You're absolutely right abt the lalang field and the sunset. I've been there b4 to shoot the sunset and it was awesome. Mayb lucky on that nite. As for the trellis I thk it's the trail leading to Punggol End. I've not reached until there on my recce and my main concern is whether there are buses there to bring us bk to th mrt stn if not we hve to track bk. Let ask the mrt control stn and decide. I would like to go there too. Heard it's very nice. Can hve seafood there too.

    March 20, 2012

  • Minghui

Donald, will you all be finishing at punggol end? Punggol end has got a lalang field which is wonderful for sunset pics. It's said that punggol waterway has got 5 bridges. Did you manage to capture the jewel bridge whereby there's dome-shaped trellis?

Ok. I went to recce the Pungol Waterway trail today. Finish around 3pm from12pm. Howver did not cover the full course. It;s a 4.2 kilo meter walk up to Punggol End. The place last time where they got seafood rest. there near the jetty. It's a ver long walk, so be prepared. Here are some tips. 1. Water Btl a must. If you run out of water don't panic, there is a tiolet near by half way thru the journey. 2. Wear track shoes. No slippers or high heeled shoes for ladies...con't
