Connecting with new parents and their babies/toddlers with sign language is fun! As someone who is fluent in ASL (signing as a baby myself - my mom is DEAF) and having 3 children who sign, I am able to provide you with tremendous insight to signing with your baby and greater vocabulary. When you begin to observe your child's interests you may find it is not the typical "baby" words you want to sign but something like PAPER, LEAF, DANCE etc... and it has been my specialty to aid parents in how to integrate signs as a learning tool for their children. Most parents in the Workshops and Classes have identified with attachment parenting practices and that is the philosophy I consistently correlate signing with in my programs.
