Buildbot on Dotcloud and Docker

"Exercising your code often is key as it allows to spot and correct issues early, saving time and effort. Buildbot is a python continuous integration system designed to automate the build/test cycle. Docker is a Linux container runtime that complements LXC with a high-level API, running unix processes with strong guarantees of isolation and repeatability across servers."

Speaker: Daniel Mizyrcki

Daniel is a software testing engineer at Dotcloud and linux and opensource advocate. He led the first Linux user group in Argentina (BALUG) back in 1993. He fell in love with Python in 2004, as he discover the powerful expressiveness and simplicity of the language. He uses Python for work to program servers, routers and embedded systems and for hobbies to remote control multimedia programs and to map ham radio GPS coordinates.

Good talk. I needed an introduction to the concepts first, as an overview, to be able to follow-along. But, I also know this was the first time this speaker had given a presentation. Kudos for him for getting out there. Docker seems very interesting.

Sorry for dropping with such short notice...I cleared the day to do this, but like always, paged as I'm walking out the door.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
