Software Engineer, Research Analyst and PM opportunities

Dear All,

My name is Alison Raby and I am working on a number of searches for Quantios, a young, venture backed (NEA) company that is staring down a rabbit hole of potential value.  Their core technologies allow them to look at complex problems in education and talent identification that haven't been addressable before, and they are working on some very intriguing options for expansion over the next few years.

Currently they are doing sophisticated proprietary analysis to forecast the likelihood of a student's acceptance, matriculation, graduation, and path through college.  They will also project career trajectory and income post-graduation.  Their tools can revolutionize college search by bringing data into a problem that's previously been solved with vague intuition, and education finance, through innovative alternatives to the loans available today.  If they are able to execute well, they will build a very significant company that will own a large part of the space.

The sophisticated backend technology they are developing now will allow them to more effectively answer questions of student success and long term performance.  This information is valuable to colleges, corporate partners, the general population, and internally as they build out their peripheral business, especially relating to education finance.

This is an opportunity for someone to gain experience scaling a small engineering team almost from scratch.  As the company matures, it would be a logical fit to move this person into an executive role and they would have significant input to major decisions.  They will have ultimate say in selection of technologies (for example, languages or frameworks) and would help to prioritize feature sets.

I have attached the position descriptions for your review and would welcome an opportunity to chat with you and network regarding these opportunities.  If you would be open to speaking with me I would appreciate it.  My complete contact information is included below.

Kind Regards,

Alison Raby
