Hey everyone, it looks like it'll be Trotter Cashion speaking this time. He'll be talking about Metaprogramming in Ruby, covering how to do it, why you should do it, and when you should do it. He'll cover some fun Ruby magic such as `define_method`, `method_missing`, and the various evals, so come learn about some of the more interesting corners of Ruby.

If you don't know much about Trotter, he runs Mashion, a local Ops / Rails consultancy. He's authored / co-authored a few books from Addison Wesley and has presented at a number of conferences nationally (OSCON, GoRuCo, ChefConf, RailsConf Europe, PhillyETE, and Strange Loop). He's been programming professionally in Ruby for the past eight years, so he hopefully knows what he's talking about.

As usual, the meeting will begin at 6:30pm with the talk starting at 7pm. There will be time for lightening talks before / after.
