A lot of libraries have private rooms you can reserve in advance for free. The price is right.

Folks,

I'm going to spend this weekend bootstrapping a new project with a fellow entrepreneur.  I'd prefer to get away from distractions and not do this at home.  Can anyone recommend a place where I could find/rent/trade a meeting room for the weekend?  Basically a room with a whiteboard and power socket somewhere between Palo Alto and San Mateo that's not hotel-meeting-room-crazy-expensive.  I'm speculating about plug-and-play spaces, TechShop, a local library, or a friendly startup.  Hacker Dojo is a possibility but it's a little too far south and there isn't much privacy there that I'm aware of.

Anyone have a recommendation?  If you respond to me directly I'll summarize interesting info for the list.

Thanks,

-Sam.
