SilverStripe Amsterdam June - Co-operative Multitasking with Generators + more

We are excited to announce the June SilverStripe Meetup! This is to coincide with the Dutch PHP conference which is on 25-27 June.

There will be a number of quality speakers coming to share with us - including Chris Pitt from SilverStripe HQ in Wellington, New Zealand. Drinks and nibbles kindly sponsored by SilverStripe.

We welcome all SilverStripe developers, SilverStripe Platform users and the wider web/PHP development community to join us for this meetup.

Have you ever used the yield keyword? It's the hidden-wardrobe-entrance into a magical world of generators. This magical world is inhabited by beings called iterators and coroutines. Roll some epic battle-music...

In this talk we'll explore the origins of PHP generators, using them for iteration and ultimately how they can help turn synchronous code into asynchronous code.

We're ending the day with a beer and shorts. What are shorts? Not the pants that lack length, but short show-offs. Have a website you're particularly proud of? Or have something cool you can show in about 15 minutes? It's a step up and show-off hour!
