Walk around Lake Casitas

Let's go on a seven mile walk around Lake Casitas and enjoy the true beauty of this area. Let's meet at the entrance of the lake in order to avoid their parking fee. There is limited parking in lot in front and parking on the shoulder of the road to the left of the entrance.

How to find us: Meet near the front gate by the bike rental shop - to the left as you go in past the entrance.

For those who want to Kayak after the hike,

Rental Rates: Single Kayaks - $15/hour Double Kayaks - $20/hour

It might be a nice place to bring your own bicycle if the hike is not enough exercise for the day. I'm bringing my bike.

DIRECTIONS: Take the 101 north to 33, take last off ramp Casitas Vista Rd. to Santa Ana Rd, make right, follow signs to the recreation area entrance.
