Single Parents of all ages are encouraged to join. It doesn't matter if you are divorced, widowed or single.
The main focus of this group is offer support and foster friendships for single parents and their children of any age. We'll try and plan affordable activities and travel for the single parent and child to attend and meet other single parents and kids to socialize. Most events are planned either with the kids as the focus or that kids can attend with the parents seeing as we're single parents and most of us would have to additionally deal with sitters then. There may be some activities with parents only that depends on the feedback I get.
Most meet ups will occur in the outer boroughs of NY Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island etc. There will be day trips and over nights to NJ,Pa and other locations.
